Dr. Mendonca practices all areas of Urology and has a special interest in urologic reconstruction. Individuals may lose function from aging, prior failed surgeries or side effects from cancer treatments. Men may develop urethral strictures, voiding dysfunction or erectile dysfunction. Women may suffer from incontinence or pelvic organ prolapse. Each patient is unique – there are medical concerns, but also individual social circumstances. To every problem, there are many solutions. Dr. Mendonca’s philosophy of care is to listen to each patient and help them find a treatment that is best suited for their individual needs and lifestyle. Medication alone may fix many problems, but if surgery is necessary, he would be able to offer cutting-edge and advanced techniques in open, endoscopic, robotic or microscopic surgery.
